Biography
He was born on October 21, 1992, in Baltimore, Maryland, USA.
Lee attended St. Thomas More School in Connecticut.
After high school, Damion went to Drexel University.
On January 11, 2011, his grandmother passed away due to cancer.
After the 2011-12 season, Lee was named the CAA’s Rookie of the Year. “I’m truly blessed,” Damion said. “It’s amazing how far I’ve come these past five years.”

In September 2016, The Boston Celtics announced that they had signed Lee alongside Jalen Jones and Marcus Georges-Hunt.
All three were waived by The Celtics in October 2016. Later that month, Damion signed with the Maine Red Claws. He was waived by the Red Claws in early 2017.
In August 2017, Damion inked a deal with Santa Cruz Warriors.
Represents Team USA
On February 22, 2018, Damion was added to the US national team for the 2019 FIBA Basketball World Cup qualification.
He replaced Canton Charge guard Marcus Thornton. “When I was younger, this wasn’t something I ever thought would happen,” Lee said at the time. “I’m playing with USA on my chest.”

In March 2018, Damion inked a 10-day contract with the Atlanta Hawks after the Hawks lost Kent Bazemore the entire season due to a right knee injury. In addition, backup Jaylen Morris was also injured.

Golden State Warriors
In July 2018, Damion was signed by the Golden State Warriors on a two-way contract.
In January 2020, Lee inked a multi-year contract with the Golden State Warriors.

On October 1, 2023, Lee suffered a meniscus injury in on-court workouts. On October 11, 2023, Damion underwent a surgery to repair the meniscus in his right knee.
